Hughes Community Awards

A MESSAGE FROM CRAIG KELLY MP

Since 1997 the Hughes Community Awards have recognised the selfless work of the many volunteers living and working within our Federal seat of Hughes. These awards are for those living amongst us who do not ask for recognition or reward for their acts of kindness.

Volunteers are the glue that holds our community together. They are the ones that we can count on in our times of need to lend a helping hand and who ask nothing in return. These unsung heroes deserve our respect and admiration.

The Hughes Community Awards provide an opportunity to show our appreciation for their dedication and hard work. Nominations are open to residents of the Hughes electorate, or anyone undertaking volunteer work within the Hughes electorate.

I look forward to reading the submissions, but most of all I look forward to being able to shake the hands of these volunteers and simply say, “Thank you”.

Kind Regards,

Craig Kelly MP
